About CARE4YOUTH

CARE4YOUTH is an Erasmus+ Youth funded project focused on supporting young people aged 16-25 in the care system and care leavers by enhancing their personal and professional development through a combination of non-formal education and outdoor sporting activities. The project tackles the specific challenges these vulnerable youth face as they transition into adulthood, providing them with the skills and support necessary for independent living.

Challenges

Youth in the care system often encounter significant barriers in accessing education, employment, and social inclusion. Many care leavers lack strong support networks, making it difficult to navigate the transition to independence. Additionally, they face societal stigma and insufficient access to training in essential life skills. CARE4YOUTH addresses these challenges by providing tailored programs aimed at empowering youth, improving their employability, and fostering social integration.
